I disagree...  for one thing it doesn't seem to work in firefox on linux... - the sound plays but there is no video.  

Works fine with Firefox 19 / Kubuntu 12.10

For another, I find websites that automatically play media like that very off-putting.
 
To put it simply I do not feel comfortable directing  potential customers to that site.

Well, i found this http://www.youtube.com/html5 to alleviate my concerns somewhat. It also works with the http://www.youtube.com/feather beta.

 

Edit: what it does is serve you webM video streams and i suppose fallback to flash, feather cuts the cruft and loading times as a result of that.

You need a youtube (google) account. Is anything like this possible to do from the account that uploaded the video point of view?

 

Edit: seems it also does h.264, but i dont have support for that in iceweasel.
