I might be wrong, but reading around I got the impression Gingerbread doesnt have gamepad support and a newer version is needed to use the ICP, is this true? I only have 2.3.5 on my Galaxy S2 as my provider hasnt rolled out Ice Cream Sandwich in my area yet.

You can map android keyboard functions to the ICP with BluezIME. Some games support keyboard input and emulators are fully usable with BluezIME. But if you want to connect it in gamepad mode as a native gamepad you need Android 4 ICS. Should be out soon though for you SGSII, btw you can always install a custom rom. Its not all that hard with your phone.
Device: Samsung Galaxy SIII JB stock rooted // Asus Transformer Prime JB stock rooted

Ok thanks for the info, I dont suppose you know if games like Modern Combat 2/3 work with BluezIME do you? These games and other android shooters are the main reason I want to pickup an ICP.

Sorry ICS has native support for pads such as the iControlpad? How does that work?
