Hi,

I'm just wondering what the status of using webgl with browsers on the pandora is. I imagine it doesn't run yet but is there scope in the future for it?

WebGL is based on OpenGL ES 2.0 => no problems ahead, unless the OpenGL ES stack is in a too bad shape. Mozilla just recently complained about a lot of problems with free video drivers and having to put a lot of them on their blacklist for now.

Yep, that's what I thought alright. Hopefully someone will get around to supporting the Pandora's graphics chip, that would be pretty cool.

AFAIK they don't need to support any graphics chips, WebGL simply adds a new layer on top of an already existing OpenGL ES 2.0 implementation.
