Just as the title says, the down direction on my d-pad is not functional. I just received my unit today. I would like to know what to do about it.

Likewise, I received mine today with the right direction on the d-pad faulty. Should I open it up and fiddle with the membrane a bit? Did a lot of that with the PSP, heh :)

I'd be interested if you could both have a look inside and see if there is any obvious reason for this. Does the direction not respond *at all*?

It responds if I press it /really/ hard.

I wonder if it might just be the glue on the post making it a bit stiff to love, try pushing it hard several dozen times and see if it loosens up?

They use the exact same parts as the Pandora so there should be no reason why they don't work.

Not to worry, the membrane seemed to be slightly off so it wasn't properly hitting the right dpad button. All sorted now :)

Thanks for your time. I'm having a blast playing my entire childhood game library again on my Galaxy S2 :D

I am at work now, I will dissect the unit when I get home provided this will have no effect on the warranty. Mine is not responsive at all.
