Hi all.
Purchased the iControlpad a while back and used it with my Galaxy S2 and loved it. Unfortunately I upgraded to the S3 and discovered the universal holder/clamp isn't so universal anymore as it fails to fit the S3.
I was wondering is there any plans to modify your universal holder in the future - most phones these days are becoming rather large... If it were to be modified, I'd quite happily pay the $10 or so for a new clamp (instead of modifying it myself which I am not so keen on doing).
I found a quote from way back in March 2011 regarding a spring loaded holder though I'm presuming that never went ahead.
Thanks for your time and a great product!

Do you just mean it does not have a hole which fits well?
You can just make a new hole very easily, the holder is just aluminium.
I don't have an S3 so I can't try it to see what else might stop it from working.

hmmm, I'll have to have another go, though it seemed way to tight for me to fit the S3 (also others have said the same thing - or maybe I'm wrong)Works for me. What's the problem exactly?

Either the universal holders are different or you modified that one because there is no way mine is fitting without a new hole drilled. Something I plan on doing soon.
EDIT: I apparently stand corrected. That must be one hell of a tight "fit".

Upon further inspection and fiddling around it does in fact fit...only just though. Need to remove the rubber sides first then attach phone then reattach the grips. It will be tight, though will fit.

I didn't change anything. I just received the holder one week ago. Maybe it was updated since yours has been built.
And no, it isn't too tight. I just remove the rubber part on one side, slide it in and reattach the rubber part. That's all. Only problem is that the volume buttons tend to be pressed while trying to fit the phone in, but with a little practice it is not a problem at all. My only problem is that I can't get analog controls in n64oid, but that is a different story.

I did it last night and as you said the volume keys was a issue however it is really tight. I would score the side of the GS3 in no time flat slidding it in and out like that. I am not comfortable doing that at all. I will drill a hole slightly lower so I can use some padding.
Shame the analog dosen't work with N64oid
