Hi, I´m new here.

I have just received my devide today but cannot find a way to get a proper setup.

I have seen the techgamerblog´s video-tutorial and have followed every step but there´s no way it works. I mean this video:

As I am trying the pad on SonicCD I have tried this other tutorial too (he uses this game as example):

But same result.

When I pair my pad it appears as "iControlPad-C733". I only tried in SonicCD. I set the buttons exactly like in the second video. By accident, the first time I paired it I turn the pad on with the combination "START + A". I chose "forget this device" after this.
I use now the combination "START + A + X + B" everytime I turn it on. Jailbroken iPhone 4. What more can I say...

Well, I hope you may tell me where´s the problem.

I repeated exactly the same process step by step one more time and suddenly... magic!!! It started working fine.

Just one thing that can maybe help others: the buttons mapping is totally different from the videos in my case. Here is my conversion table.

A - 5
B - 6
X - 7
Y - 8
L - 0
R - 9
START - E1
SELECT - E2

Hope it can be found useful.

It started happening again.

After reading this post, I think I have finally solved the problem:
