Is this similar to this stickied thread?

No. This is more detailed. Included most of emulators (and will test even more), will include apps for android if I find any, devices that are working fine with ICP. It's dedicated for Android users.
25 different Emus so far with details what input type is working, if emu has multiplayer mode, if needs a bios etc.
I'll be posting configuration tips (BluezIME for Android etc.) and answer as many questions as I can.
And of course, I'll be checking any device I'll get in my hands.

Currently I have at work people with devices for near future tests:
HTC Desire custom
HTC Desire stoc
HTC Desire HD custom
HTC Desire HD stock
HTC Deisre Z stock
HTC Wildfire stock
HTC Wildfire custom (as soon as I root it)
Samsung Spica custom
Samsung SGS custom
Samsung SGS 2 stock

I'm running SNES 9x EX on a Motorola Defy and trying to pair via bluetooth with no success yet. Just get "failed opening bt channel"

SNES 9x EX works fine via Bluez IME (NOT VIA DIRECT INPUT).

Guide for emulators using Bluez IME:

System side CFG:
1> Unpair your if paired.
2> Relaunch BT connection on the phone
3> Power on your ICP by [Y] + [Start]
4> Search for IPC at Bluetooth connections (not Bluez IME but System Bluetooth settings)
5> When found and paired switch to Bluez IME

Bluez IME side:
Make sure Bluez IME is enabled (ticked) in system > Keyboard/language Settings (vary for different OS'es)
1> Choose BT drivers as ICP
2> Select device - your paired ICP (with your MAC address)
3> Switch IME to bluez IME (also can be done as input selection)
By default D-Pad should work as arrows and at this point you should be able to swap between desktop panels
4> remap keys if needed.

Enjoy!

You can add Vice (C64 emulator), works via BluezIME. Does not require ROM, dunno if supports archives.

Just got Roberts emulator Snes9x EX working with iCP on my Nook Color running Cyanogenmod 7.1. The only problem is currently the range of the bluetooth is very short(1 to 5 feet).

I've never thought to put this to the test. My house simply isn't big enough for me to sit more than 5 feet from an iPad-connected-to-the-TV-running-some-sort-of-emulator.

I authentically feel sorry for you....

feel kind of bad to say it ... but I have closets in my house that could satisfy the testing of that limit...

I haven't gotten around to it to see the limit of mine, but in my living room due to the space of the room and size of tv and where we can sit and watch comfortably I wouldn't be able use it due to this 5 ft limit unless we sit on the floor and strain our necks

sorry man

EDIT: just remembered we have problems with our WII controller sometimes picking up the IR beam when sitting on the couch

Riptide now supports custom control input. Just connect with bluez then set the controls in Riptide options

Might want to check out some of the third party IR bars http://www.newegg.co...N82E16878501017 I have something similar and it made a good difference for range and width of people playing, so more folk can jump around like loonies without breaking each others noses.

I'd need the opposite for a kinnect bar, something to allow closer play like this http://www.amazon.co...15646458&sr=8-1 but bar the hacking possibilities I wouldn't have time to get into, the game range has looked decidedly lack lustre so far.
"There comes a time when it makes you so sick at heart that you can no longer take part.... unless you are free, the machine will be prevented from running at all!"

"The transparently pretend friend to animals and definitely not a fkn rat, Shade of Pink (if correctly lewd) RedBaron of nonsense loony round the cream bun and decidedly murky grey shade of para-politically coloured jam shenanigans"

i just stumbled across an interesting thread regarding andosbox and figured i'd link to it, so people here maybe test icp (i don't have on yet) with adosbox too and include that in the list as well: http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1032970
